DDG plays on NA. Playing on NA is not enough: you also need the same team and map. Confirm the rally map in Eternal Battlegrounds or the Borderlands. Full maps may have queues.
FIELD GUIDE / 01
Your first day,
one step at a time.
From entering WvW to checking your first rewards. Follow the steps in the order you need them.
BEFORE YOU GO
Three things to check before you go.
Being eligible to enter is different from being ready to fight. Check your level-80 character's gear, traits and skills, then tell us whether you want to roam or fill a squad role. Ask on Discord before buying gear to avoid spending twice.
Listening in Discord is required on runs; a microphone is optional. After joining the squad, check your assigned party and rally point. If you fall behind, ask for a safe regroup point instead of crossing enemy territory alone.
Paid accounts can use the WvW panel from level 31. Free accounts unlock it account-wide when one character reaches level 60. Other entry requirements, including team assignment, still apply.

STEP 01
Open WvW with B
Press the default shortcut B to open the WvW menu and check available maps. Entry requirements and queues depend on your account and battlefield conditions.
STEP 02
Check the team you will join
If you want to play with DDG, contact Bigoni (@redping32) on Discord before selecting a server (team). Joining the guild does not immediately place you on the same WvW team.
This screenshot is an example from the time it was taken. The guild may be assigned to a different server (team) at each team formation. Do not choose a server just because its name appears in the image.
- Before confirming a team selection, contact Bigoni to check which server (team) the guild is on this season.
- Choose the current server (team) confirmed by the guild, then set the guild you will play with as your WvW guild.
- If you are already on another team, contact us first. We will check your WvW guild setting and the registration deadline for the next monthly team formation.
STEP 03
Find the tag and move together
Open the map with M and look for an allied commander tag. Check whether the squad is open to join, then follow rally and movement calls.
Move with nearby allies and stay close to the tag.
Avoid dangerous area attacks and prioritize regrouping over chasing enemies.
Follow calls for using supply and building siege weapons.
STEP 04
Check your reward track
Choose your preferred track under Reward Tracks in the WvW menu. Skirmish rewards and the WvW reward track you select are separate systems.
YOUR FIRST STEPS
First-day checklist
Check these items yourself. Progress is saved in this browser and is not linked to the game.
YOUR FIRST SESSION
Four small wins for your first session.
This is an example of a one-hour practice session you can follow on your own, not a scheduled guild training event. Adjust the order for queues and battlefield conditions.
- First 10 minutes: Check your team, rally map and voice channel, then select a reward track.
- Next 15 minutes: Find camps and supply depots, and check the supply you are carrying. Join a safe capture opportunity.
- Next 25 minutes: Follow the commander's rally, movement and retreat calls. Aim to stay with allies instead of chasing enemies.
- Last 10 minutes: Check participation, pips, reward tracks and currencies. Choose one thing to improve next time.
Specific questions such as 'Where should I have moved here?' are easier to answer. Contact Bigoni on Discord about joining and guild activities.
